Fuerteventura
This is where your dreams will come true. Presently there are more beaches in Fuerteventura than hotels. The excellent wind conditions are reason enough for surfers’ hearts to beat that much faster. Corralejo, a former fisherman’s village in the north of the island, is rapidly developing into a resort. A drive to the south will take you along long, lonely beaches or through the centre of the island, where you will come across oasis-like spots in the midst of barren hilly country. The spit of land in the south is called Jandia, and its beaches are considered to be the most beautiful of the archipelago.
