Dear Friends of Edelweiss Air. There is nothing more rewarding for a CEO of an airline than to add an attractive destination to the airline’s existing network. For a pilot, there is nothing better than to have the opportunity of landing at a new airport. A new landscape, different climate conditions, new partners at ground control – and not least new guests on board. For passengers who place their trust in their local airline, it is wonderful to know that that airline will take them to yet another beautiful place in the world – and bring them safely home. I am very pleased to announce that, this winter, Edelweiss Air is doing full justice to all of these points: The successful integration of Phuket (Thailand) in our route network adds a further destination which is highly popular with you, dear passenger. At the same time, the cockpit crew thoroughly enjoy flying over the spectacular Andaman Islands to a destination which secures Edelweiss Air’s presence at a further strategically important location.
